Click Here to Download Current Enrollment Application Our tuition is based on an annual yearly amount that is divided into 9 ½ monthly payments, which is a flat rate regardless of holidays, breaks, etc. The half of a month’s tuition is to be paid at the time of enrollment, along with the enrollment fee that pays for the snacks and supplies for the school year. Tuition for the half day pre-kindergarten class is $350.00 per month and the full day classes are $500.00 per month. The enrollment fees remain the same as last year, $200 for the half day and $250 for the full day classes. This fee pays for the snacks and supplies for the school year. Full day classes only bring their lunch. To secure a position, we request the enrollment fee, plus August’s tuition, be paid at the time of enrollment. We provide Visa and Master Card services for your convenience. |

CDC TUITION REMAINS CONSISTENT EACH MONTH, REGARDLESS OF DAYS ATTENDED. There is NO REDUCTION in monthly tuition for September through May. ~To enroll for the half day program you will need to pay: $175, which is a half of a month’s tuition payment |

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

CDC provides before and after school care for an additional fee. Children are accepted any time after 7:00 a.m. until classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and can remain at school until 4:30 p.m. after classes are dismissed at 3:00 p.m. This service is offered Monday through Friday when school is in session. We do not have year round child care and we do not offer child care when we are out for school holidays. Before and after school care every morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday is $130.00 per month *If part time care is needed or an adjusted schedule, please call us and we will discuss how we can help you by pro-rating your fee. |

Children's Discovery center was established in 1977 as a five day a week Montessori school located at South Mac Arthur Church of Christ. The school is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. CDC is committed to the Montessori approach to education. The school provides classrooms fully equipped with Montessori materials. This atmosphere provides individualized learning. The child is the center of the environment as he makes choices, sets the pace and discovers the joy of victory in a highly challenging academic atmosphere. Basic points of emphasis in the classroom are self-esteem, independence, and respect. A positive approach is emphasized at all times and discipline comes from within the child, based on the natural desire to discover, achieve, and to be a part of an active, self-disciplined group. Teachers work with the students on an individual basis and model quiet respect for the children and the environment. A variety of special events will provide challenges for students with varied talents and interests. We promote family participation and welcome your assistance. Yearly traditional; events include such activities as family field trips, One Mile Fun Run, Thanksgiving or Christmas musicals, class holiday parties, spring musical, Mothers’ Breakfast, Open House, Fun Fair, and much more. A yearly calendar is provided listing each event and giving parents an opportunity to participate. |
